(01) — Manifesto

Architecture
should be feltbefore it is
understood.

We work slowly, with few materials and a great deal of daylight. Stone, lime, oak and air. A room is finished when the noise has left it — when proportion, shadow and silence do the speaking, and the building simply holds you.

Less noise.
More meaning.

(04) — Studio

Copenhagen / Warsaw

Studio table with white architectural models, stone and timber material samples

A small studio,
deliberately.

Atelier Noma works between Copenhagen and Warsaw on houses, interiors and objects. We build at model scale first, test materials in daylight, and keep the number of projects low enough that each one stays in our hands from the first sketch to the last joint.
